What it covers

Our customers provide three services to manufacturers. WHLBIT runs all three, and the billing that follows.
Handling
Loading and unloading: rail wagon to truck or platform, platform to truck, and truck to warehouse and back.
Transportation
Goods shed to warehouse, goods shed to dealer, and warehouse to dealer, by rake, road and port.
The journey
From the goods shed to the dealer’s door
Cement and fertilizers travel by goods train (a rake) to a goods shed. From there they are unloaded, moved, stored and dispatched. WHLBIT records every step.

Rake arrival
Cement and fertilizer rakes are received and placed at the goods shed. Every rake is tracked from arrival until unloading is complete.

Unloading & handling
Bags are unloaded from wagons to the platform or straight into trucks, with a slip raised for every lorry loaded.

Transportation
Trucks move stock to warehouses or directly to dealers, and each movement is recorded against the rake.

Warehousing
Stock is received, stored and tracked by warehouse, product and owner, with capacity and utilisation always in view.

Dealer dispatch
Delivery and sales orders drive loading and shipment from warehouse to dealer, closing the loop to the last mile.
